HSBC Construction Update

Week of September 19, 2011

Parviz Tabrize of Shawmut provides the following overview of construction activities for the week of September 19:

• Construction crews will continue to operate Monday - Saturday with occasional extended hours during the week.

• Buildings A & B - Interior finish work continues with painting, ceramic tile, acoustic tile ceilings, lab casework, toilet partitions, toilet accessories, and toilet fixtures. Floor moisture mitigation, as well as the installation of VCT, is ongoing. Most of the HVAC and plumbing equipment has been up and running.      

• Wastewater treatment plant – All equipment and piping is complete and testing of the system has begun. Pre-wet test is scheduled for the next week. Shortly thereafter, the process of commissioning and inspection will begin.   This will last for a couple of months.

• Field House –  We are currently working on completing the punch list items in the Field House and WayCAM shell.   Punch list items will be complete in the Field House by next Friday.

• Pool parking lot: Landscaping is ongoing. The sidewalk and the granite curbs will be complete by the end of next week.

• Site work: The site improvement is ongoing between buildings A & B. The installation of pavers continues, as well as placement of loam. This activity will be ongoing through September 2011.
