The following is an overview of upcoming construction activities for the coming week:

We are working Saturday 8/28 on excavation and backfill activities.

The traffic light wiring was damaged last week and is being repaired on Saturday 8/28.  The light should be functioning properly again by mid-day

On Monday 8/30, we will paint the center stripe at the temporary roads and paint 'No Parking' lines in the area behind the Fieldhouse (we will cordon off this area so that cars are not parked there on Monday).

The temporary parking lot and the pool parking lot have been striped and with athletics underway, there is constant traffic on the temporary roads to the parking areas.  Please drive slowly and keep in mind that this road is for two-way traffic.  We are adding signage to help manage traffic on campus.

Throughout the week, concrete foundation construction will continue, much the same as it has for the past several weeks.  Daily concrete placements and ongoing footing excavation and backfill can be expected.   Also within the site, we are excavating for installation of new underground utilities. 

Soils continue to be trucked to/from the gravel pit adjacent to the lacrosse field, so please be aware of truck traffic in that area.  Everyone should keep in mind that the gravel pit area is off limits to non-construction personnel.  We have posted  signage to that effect.
