here. Briefly, the Administration is in the process of developing a set
of Core Values (summarized below, but with added detail) designed to guide school behaviors.
- Teaching and Learning
- Collegiality
- Respect for Differences
- Community
Together with the district Mission Statement, these Core Values provide the foundation for
the School Committee's 4 Strategic Goal Areas, each of which has a number of initiatives and corresponding goals.
- Curriculum, instruction and assessment that maximize each student’s learning and achievement
- A diverse knowledgeable and skilled community of educators and leaders
- Family and community partnerships to support the learning and growth of every student
- Strategic management of facilities, operations and resources to enable and empower the educational community
