2009-10-01: High School project approval and information meeting schedule
The Wayland High School Building Committee (HSBC) has proposed a construction project that was approved yesterday by the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) and will be put to a vote this November. To learn more about the project, plan to attend one of the HSBC's two upcoming forums.
  • Thursday, October 15: 7:30pm, Town Building large hearing room
  • Tuesday, October 20: 9:30am, Town Building School Committee conference room (second floor)
The proposal includes the construction of two new buildings over the existing parking lot and renovation of the Field House. Details of the project will be presented at the forums, including the proposed design, project schedule, and a tax impact analysis. There will also be a question and answer session. Everyone in the community is welcome and encouraged to attend.

The School Committee's next regular meeting is Tuesday, October 13, at 7:00pm in the School Committee's conference room on the second floor of the Town Building. As always, we will begin and end our meeting with a public comment period.
