2008-05-03: Call for volunteers for Technology Task Force Superintendent Gary Burton has put out for a call for volunteers to serve on an ad hoc Technology Task Force. The TTF will be charged with reviewing the recently completed technology audit and making recommendations for updating the technology in the Wayland Public Schools, including developing spending priorities and staffing recommendations. The TTF will begin meeting in May and will continue at least through the fall of 2008, with the goal of making recommendations for budgeting and spending priorities for the 2009-2010 school year. Residents who are interested in applying for appointment to the TTF should contact either Jean Tower, Director of Technology, at 508-358-3714 or Dr. Gary Burton, Superintendent of Schools, at 508-358-3763 (Gary_Burton@wayland.k12.ma.us).
