2008-02-09: February 11 meeting update: decision likely to be delayed

The transportation analysis and comparison is taking longer than originally expected. Since the Committee has not met since learning of this timing, it has not been able to discuss the timing's implications; there is a strong chance, however, that it will elect NOT to make a decision on February 11 regarding which school will be the 1-5 school and which school will be the K school for the 2008-2009 school year.

Please be aware that at the February 11 meeting, the Committee WILL receive elaboration on other aspects of the school comparison and WILL hold its public forum as previously announced.

  • Time: 7:00pm to 9:00pm (School Committee meeting to follow)
  • Location: Large Hearing Room, Town Building (tentative)
