2007-11-29: Positive Step for High School Project
As reported in Wednesday's Boston Globe (11/28), Wayland High School was one of 83 out of 423 projects selected by the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) to move forward with the prospect for partial state reimbursement. While next steps and a time line are not yet available, this selection is a strong positive development in the project's life.

As the project moves forward, the School Committee would like to again give its thanks to the extraordinary effort that has been and will continue to be put in by the High School Building Committee (HSBC). Their service to the town has been immeasurable--the entire town owes them a deep debt of gratitude.

Please be on the lookout for updates as more information becomes available, and for numerous opportunities to provide input on the project.

Our next meeting is scheduled for Monday, December 17th, at 7:30pm in the School Committee meeting room on the second floor of the Town Building (full meeting schedule).

Thank you for your attention,
Wayland School Committee
