The mission of the Wayland School Committee is to
1. set
policy,
2. advise the
Superintendent of Schools, and
3. recommend a budget
that delivers
a high-quality educational program
to the children entrusted to our care.
A high-quality educational program incorporate an appropriate balance of
curricular (academic) and co-curricular (athletics, arts, and other activities)
activities to foster our students' growth and prepare them to move for whatever
they take on after their time in the Wayland Public Schools.
